It's been one year today since Stephanie devoted her life to God and got saved! I have seen god work and move in her life, that I just watch in awe! I am getting an abudant amount of blessings from God, and yes, sometimes I feel like I don't deserve all that he has given me. All in all, I AM blessed!!

I know this was rather short, but those was pretty much the two main things on my mind, that I really wanted to share!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

The kids and I went to the zoo yesterday and we had a blast! I felt like I was having to yell at them all morning long while we was getting ready. Well, not exactly yelling, but I was constantly have to give them the same instructions over and over again. So through all the mess of the morning, I left my camera. We left 2 hours before they opened, and we still managed to not get there until right around 11:00(2 hours later after they opened!) I was prepared to pay over 60.00, but when I got in line and paid, it was only 31.05!! I didn't know that Tuesdays was half price day. So that left me with alot of extra money to eat lunch there and do a little shopping after we left. We went to some thrift stores and I found some really good finds. I will post pics of those some other time.

Like I mentioned before, the girls are on spring break and we have been having alot fun! Steph is leaving tonight to go somewhere with her dad and his family. I am thinking about getting a kiddie pool and maybe a sprinkler for Dallas and Kent to play in tomorrow since I am off again.

I planted some flower seeds about a week ago and they are already sprouted up! I was really surprised by this. While I was thinking about writting what I just wrote, I was getting ready to go take a picture to show and realized that the camera battery was dead. Then I remembered that I left the battery charger at my parents house from the weekend of the pageant. So this is going to be a dull looking blog, hehe. But anyways, the flowers that I planted are called cosmos. My dad gave me the seeds(who doesn't like something free?)

We have been in our house for about a year now. We are renting and it's nice to live out as far as we do, but I am really missing "home"/Remlap. I grew up there, and it really is a diffrent life style as opposed to what's here. Maybe one day(soon) Robert and I kind find a place closer to home and we can move back that way.

A Miscellany Monday

It is spring break for Blount County and I am more than excited about it. It has been a much needed break from school, and almost everything else. We aren't going out of town or anything like that, but just staying at home and going to the zoo on one of my off days. Sometimes the best breaks are the ones where you can stay at home and spend time with your family :)

For those of you who don't know, I have been working at Subway since the beginning of February. I really like it there for the most part..except the times where you get so busy that you wonder how you will survive through it. There are also times where you have ungreatful or rude customers, that no matter what you do, you can't seem to please them. Well, this weekend at work was a true test to me, and I feel like I survived! We was running out of just about everything. Items included as follows:: salad bowls, lettuce, ice, flat breat, italian herbs and cheese bread, and a few other things. I feel like my weekend at work was successful!

I know this was kinda short, but storms are one their way, and I don't want to loose this in case the power goes out.

Short and Sweet

I'm not going to tell too much in this one other than a few random thoughts.

A It is super beautiful outside today and I am having to beg my 9 year old to stay out there and play. I guess I need to be finding some outdoor "toys" for her.

B I have to work tonight.. Boo :(

C It is officially spring break for Blount County!! That means, Tuesday (which so happens to be my off day) the kids and I are headed to the zoo! We went last spring break, and it wasn't a whole lot of fun because of all the construction that was happening. This year, they have a new look and a few new animals..Hint--the elephants!! I think I may just be more excited about it than the kids are :)

In case you didn't know...It's Friday!! Our spring break will ofcially be started when we pull out of the school parking lot this afternoon. I think I may be a little too excited about it.

This weather is absolutely beautiful today. Luckily I only had to work 3 hours and it wasn't too awefuly busy, so now I can spend the evening with the kids outside after homework gets done.

One of my favorite childrens boutiques is Polka Dots and Flips Flops. She is locally owned and operated in Oneonta. She is a super sweet lady and does a great job! Here are a few of the things she has done for me so far...

This is what I ordered for Dallas's birthday. Considering how I buy about 5 hairbows a week, I thought it fit us perfectly :)

It is the time of the year for fresh flowers, fruits, and veggies! My dad has started his garden already and I can not wait. There is nothing like eating something that you have grown and it taste amazing!

Steph doing her beauty walk. I thought she nailed it but the judges must not have thought so.

I thought Dallas nailed it too, but instead she got 2nd alternate!

And this was one way mom kept Kent occupied. He has such a GREAT imagination :)

All in all, I thought the girls did fantastic. Steph started crying before she walked off stage and it broke this mommy's heart. But then I felt that it was time to remind her that she had made AB honor roll for the first time this year. She had been struggling in math, and still is but was able to pull it up to a B! I have truly been blessed with the 3 GREATEST kids ever!
