Flying By

This year has flown by SO fast! It seems like every year goes by faster the older I get. We haven't done much for Halloween this year..I have tried to go all homemade with costumes the past 2 years, and it's worked well with the girls, but not so muc Kent. So we had to go buy him a costume. He was set on being Simba from Lion King. The rack that the costume was on showed it being over $20, but when the cashier rang it up, is was only $9 something!! I was very pleased with that. Dallas is a flapper..We are using Steph's dance costume from last years dance recital from the pageant. Steph is a dirty clothes basket.


Yesterday we went to Kent's daycare for the festival going on there. He had a blast since he hadn't go to see all his friends in over a month{since I quit working}. Then after we left there, we hit up old main street in Oneonta. The businesses was handing out candy. They had the road closed for this so it was ensured that no one gets ran over or dangered in any other way.




Report cards came home Friday. Dallas did great as usual and Steph made honor roll on the first report, for the first time since 2nd grade!! I am SO proud of both of them.


I am spending this beautiful Sunday stuck at home sick. I started losing my voice the other night at the girls basketball practice and then yesterday I started the coughing and all the other yuck that is known to go with it.

It has been some time since I posted. Well really posted. I needed a break from writting.



SHS had their first homecoming week. Day 1 was tacky/mis-match day. Pictures posted in previous post. The next day was wild hair day. Oh my did the girls have some wild hair! Just take a look for yourself :)





I didn't get any other pictures from the other days. This is also the same week that Steph had her first big kid dance at school. It was a night time dance. She was excited about it and of course I cried. Just take a look below....
