Ba da ba ba ba - I'm Lovin ' It

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I'm linking up with Jamie here.

We spent about half the day at the eye doctor. This was Dallas' first
time to go, and she thought it was cool that she got them sunglasses you get after they dilate your eyes.

(via phone- not the best quality)

I found a facebook giveaway here for some super cute ties for the
little guy in my life. Hopefully our winning streak will continue and I'll win th
is one as well.
How cute are these!

Tomorrow at about 1pm will mark 11 years when I went into my 18 hour long labor with Steph. These years have flown by. I can't wait to celebrate
her birthday on Friday with family and then her
party the next weekend.
Here are a few of pictures of her when she was little and her party from last year.

I am also loving this sweet little boy who will be 4 in about 10 days!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Saturday was our big monthly grocery trip. I took my mom along with me to Winn-Dixie. She was impressed with my mad shopping skills. She now also understands why I pretty much beg her to watch Kent so I can get a lot of shopping done.

We spent half of last night in the local ER with Kent. He had gotten stung by 3 wasps (beetles as he calls them). He is slightly allergic to them, but not as sever as others. He is much better today. Bless his heart, he had the biggest tears I had ever seen from him when he got stung. I was scared and sad that I ended up crying the whole way to my parents house so my mom could come with me.

I won a few giveaways/contest this week. The first was over at Aunt Bee's Custom Canvas. I am excited to see the final product! I know it will be great because all her other work she has done so far has been super cute and unique. The second one is a free mini blog makeover at Sweetie Baby's Custom Blog Design. Now my blog will look "hip and cool".

I have an interview/appointment on Friday to get Kent into pre-K. I am nervous about it. I want him to be able to get into the program, but from hear-say there is a waiting list. It is supposedly income based and of course, I can't find my 2011 tax returns. That alone will hold up the process on him getting in. Anyways, fingers crossed that everything will go in our favor.

Happy Monday!

What I'm Lovin' Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone!
Link up with Jamie here

There is so much to be thankful for today

First on my list today, I am loving that I have the freedom to
vote. I currently live in a county that is dry. So with it being election year, this is more than likely the biggest topic around here until elections in November.

Loving that I have a new vacuum cleaner. It's been about a month since our other one broke, so our carpets are in need of a good cleaning. Who knew someone would get so excited over something like a vacuum cleaner.

Really loving all this rain we have been having. It starting to wash away our driveway within minutes of starting last night.
[please excuse the old garbage cans. we are waiting on the garbage pick-up to get rid of them]

Two of my three amazing children have a birthday this month. Steph will be 11 and Kent will be 4. That is definitely something to love.

And of course, I am loving this sweet girl too!

Happy Monday everyone!

I haven't posted much just because we have been sitting out in the sun and going and doing some free/cheap family fun. We had a good Fourth last week. It was my mom's 62 birthday! Happy Birthday to her. We went to their house and had some hamburgers and some other yummy food. It just was a nice quiet day. I remembered to take my camera for once so I got some pictures.

Playing in the water hose to cool of while Papa watered the garden. Their faces shows how much fun they really had!

He told me he was cold and wanted to
cuddle. That didn't last long!

Look at her eyes!!

I can't believe she will be 11 soon. The years go by so fast.

[b]
I try not to talk too much about Facebook on here.
But I feel like I need to point out that there are just some things you don't put on Facebook. Politics and your whines/complaints about how you think the government is being ran. Most of where I getting this from is where people are talking absolute trash about those on foodstamps, medicaid, and ect. Not everyone misuses it and there are people who drive nice cars that has been forced into the situation to use them. It makes
me want to stick a big fat stinky sock in their mouth for a while. Haha.

[c]
It got brought up the other day why Dallas didn't have a birthday party last year. Her birthday is April 26 and that was the day before the mass tornadoes ripped through my beloved state of Alabama. So therefor we had to cancel her party
. With that being said, I got on youtube and looked at footage from that day and stumbled across a video of the tornado that missed my home by just a half mile. It made me remember how blessed we really was that day.

I know that was a little scattered and not much, but I have been exhausted today and am ready to call it a night. Happy Monday everyone!

Messin' Around

It's obvious that the blog needs a serious face lift done to it. I have been up all night long trying to find something to make it look decent until I can work on it some more. One thing I want to accomplish is a signature for the end of every post. I think I have may found one...So cross your fingers that it works!

Wednesday Love

Happy Wednesday or first day of summer Y'all!

There's so much to be loving today.

.A little funny.

Funny little story my dad shared with me this morning.

I was telling him about how Kent saw that he had some tomatoes on his plant and I let him pick them. Well later on in the evening, Dallas comes inside yelling that Kent picked some tomatoes and was using them to play fetch with the dogs! So my dad had to tell me the story of when I was about Kent's age, I used to help him only pick/dig potatoes from the garden. Well, my dad came home one day to notice that he had some tomato plants pulled up from the ground. My excuse was that I was trying to get some more potatoes.

There was also another case where I threw a tantrum because he didn't plant "white gravy" to go with the potatoes!

I hope you all enjoyed my funny little story

.Mommy's little helpers.

I have been trying to move our flower bed away from where it is, but we have a ridiculous amount of rocks that has to be relocated first. Today will be day 3 of doing it and we have only gotten it half way done. But these kids have been a big help moving the rocks. Not to mention that have enjoyed looking at them and seeing how nature works.

.Gone for a dip.

Even our pet(s) like to go swimming when it gets hot outside. Just never thought they liked to swim like this.

.Farmers Market.

This past weekend Dallas, Kent, mom, and I went to the local farmers market. This was Kent's first time to go. He acted better than I expected, but he still wanted to take a bite from every item there. He even dressed the part.

The sun was in his eyes and we had left his favorite hat at home. His John Deere hat pictured above.

What are you loving today?

WILW

I'm linking up with Jamie right here!

Is it Wednesday already?! This week has gone by faster than it usually seems.

Here's what I'm loving today::

Today marks the last two weeks of school. I am excited but a little sad at the same time. This year has been bitter sweet. None the less, I am ready to sleep in 6 days a week.

I have managed to grow our tomato plants good enough to produce 2 tomatos on each!

Our first lily of the year is getting ready to bloom!

Our corn that we germinated in a jar! Even if it doesn't produce any ears, the kids have still enjoyed watching the stages of growth.

Dallas' flower that she got for her birthday from Steph. I'm loving that we have managed to make it live this long.

Happy Wednesday Y'all!
